While battery‑powered blind motors can be supported, they are often less reliable and more prone to failure due to limited battery life, and are therefore not recommended for long‑term automation use.
The add-on includes 4 × roller blind motors, along with the full automation integration, allowing each blind to be controlled individually. Blinds can be operated manually and/or automated using flexible schedules based on:
- Sunrise and sunset (including an offset)
- Specific times of day
- Your personal routines and preferences
